This is a list of the insulation products that we use on ducting.
Duct Wrap is a strong, easy to handle mattress for use with all shapes of ductwork. It is also Odourless, inert and fully compatible with all standard HVAC materials and components. It will not accelerate corrosion with steel, copper or aluminium and it won't sustain vermin, nor breed or promote fungi or bacteria.
Advantages
• Completely fire safe – totally non-combustible.
• Will not absorb moisture.
• Durable- not easily damaged in storage, during transport or
on site when installing.
• Long product life – will not age.
• Environmentally safe – made from naturally occurring minerals.
• Chemically inert – approximate pH value of 7.
Fire
The base mineral wool of duct products has a Euroclass A1 fire rating when classified in accordance with BS EN 13501 - 1. Additionally, the factory-applied aluminium foil facing meets the highest standards required by BS476:Part 6 'Fire Propagation', and BS476:Part 7 'Surface Spread of Flame'. The foil facing is therefore rated 'Class O' to the Building Regulations.
Thermal & Acoustic Insulation Work, Sheet Metal Work, Removable Insulation Covers & Electric Trace Heating.
Duct Wrap
H&V Slab
H&V Slab is suitable for use with all types of rectangular ductwork. It is also suitable where an extra firm substrate is required for subsequent coverings.

Phenolic Board
Phenolic Board is faced with a low emissivity composite foil, autohesively bonded to the insulation core during manufacture. This reflective, low emissivity surface improves the thermal resistance of any unventilated cavity adjacent to the board.
The core of Phenolic Board is a premium performance rigid thermoset modified resin insolent manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP).
Advantages
• Premium performance rigid thermoset insulation – thermal conductivities as low as 0.020 W/m.K
• Class 0 fire rated insulation core
• Manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero ODP and low GWP
• Negligible smoke obscuration
Fire
The rigid thermoset insulation core of Phenolic Board is Class 0, as defined by the Building Regulations.
Celotex Board has low emissivity foil facings, and is manufactured from rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) using a blend of blowing agents that have zero ozone depletion potential (zero ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP). It is available in thicknesses ranging from 12-45mm, making it the thinnest PIR insulation available, in a standard board size of 1200mm x 2400mm
Advantages
• Low thermal conductivity value (0.021W/mK) compared with other typical PIR insulation boards providing enhanced thermal performance.
• Class O Fire Rating.
• Super low emissivity value with Celotex IQ, delivering some of the highest performing rigid board insulation solutions.
• Achieves an 'A+' rating when compared to the BRE Green Guide.
Fire
Celotex Board has a Class O fire performance throughout the entire product in accordance with BS 476.
